Diagnostics
This is the investigative phase of process improvement effort and consists of a twelve week study of your existing infrastructure.
A through study of ongoing and completed projects is conducted with the goal of harvesting key project artifacts. These artifacts will be the foundation for process and development lifecycle analysis. Process assets are discovered, categorized, and managed.
Some initial Process Asset Library (PAL) work will begin. Process artifacts will be classified using the Discipline Centric structure.
An initial set of lifecycle models will be created along with an assessment presentation indicating key opportunities to improve focusing on areas that offer the greatest financial and quality returns.
