Process Performance believes that organizational change is necessary to maintain a competitive edge. The best way to jumpstart your change is through the introduction of fresh ideas. Well established organizations often resist change based on years of status quo operational procedures. Attempts to extract changes and new concepts in this type of environment typically results in process whitewashing and not real process evolution.
Internal process leaders are often frustrated with the resistance to changes they try to implement. Utilizing external consultants to introduce change will still be met with resistance but will equally be supported by management commitment (hiring the consultant) and therefore accelerate the adoption of changes.
Rudy Gamberini has over twenty years experience as a process change agent, working as an employee and a consultant. He has an in depth understanding of the full range of process models from Kent Beck’s eXtreme Programming to the highly structured Rational Unified Process model. He has spoken at major national and international process conferences and his models have been adopted by dozens of companies and deployed globally.
Rudy understands that process improvement requires a multitude of competencies from analyzing what is needed to structuring the training, support, and maintenance required to introduce and institutionalize the changes. He is adept at altering the behavioral aspects of your organization thus insuring cultural acceptance of the new processes.
Rudy has been a leader on teams that have successfully achieved CMMi levels 2 through 5 and has worked with smaller organizations to address specific process needs and core lifecycle definitions. Many of his approaches are rooted in Agile Development Methods and the utilization of Object Oriented Analysis and Design. He holds both an undergraduate degree in engineering as well as a master’s degree in computer science. He has been an adjunct professor teaching both undergraduate and graduate level courses and has applied those skills to corporate level training as well as process conference seminars.
